.UK Price Increase - March 1, 2016

Nominet recently announced a price increase to their fee schedule starting March 1, 2016.  In addition, Nominet will no longer support differentiated pricing between a 1- and 2-year registration.  As of March 1, 2016, the new pricing will be as follows:

HEXONET recommends renewing any domains ahead of this price increase.  .UK domains can be renewed now or at any point in the future.  Renewals can be for 1 to 9 years.  

Please NOTE that with the price change, the default registration period will be changed to 1 year, instead of previously 2 years.  In addition please note that in the event you have a standard 2 year registration configured in your system, then the autorenew bevaviour after price change will be still remain at 2 years.  The autorenew behaviour of 1 year no matter what initial registration period was selected will change on June 1, 2016.

Should you wish to change the renewal behvaiour of your existing domains prior to June 1, 2016 please email [email protected] with your request and we will make these changes for you.

.ORG Price Increase - August 1, 2016

PIR announced an increase to the annual price of .ORG domains starting August 1, 2016.

* The GROSS price includes Germany's 19% VAT; many resellers pay the lower NET price without VAT.
